Meet Our Family

We are the Knapps — Mike, Carrie, Lily and Esther. We are the ones who raise the cattle and care for them. On our little family ranch we do all the work from the ground up. We build the soil for nutrient dense forages, select and breed bulls that are durable and adaptable to a real world environment, and provide you with nutrient dense grass-fed beef that is delicious, tender and well marbled.

The River Runs Through Everything

The river gave this ranch its name, and it still sets the rhythm of the place — watering the pastures, cooling the herd in July, and carving the valley our cattle graze. Protecting it isn’t a marketing line for us; it’s the reason this land can keep doing what it does.

Follow the water and you’ll find our cows somewhere along it, doing what they do best: turning mountain grass into the best beef you’ve ever tasted.
